How do I access webmail
Accessing your email: - One of the most important questions that we get asked by our clients is how do they access their emails.
Quick Simple Email Access:
Simply go to http://webmail.yourwebsite.com/ or https://yourwebsite.com:2096/ to access your webmail.
The Server (YOUR HOSTING) offers you two pieces of software to use, the software Horde and Squirrelmail allow you to access your email in the same way as you would access Outlook365 or Gmail.
You will need to use the email associated with your website -bob@yourwebsite.com and the password you have set up.
Accessing your Email via your PC
When referring to the software on your Laptop or PC then we are referring to Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird or Apple Mail - all of these will work fine with Mello Hosts email systems. - So choosing what program to use on your PC is really up to you. It's about using something that you are most comfortable with. If you are looking for free software to use with your email then I can recommend Thunderbird
If you are using a Linux setup then you will know better than we do what program to use.
No matter what software you use to send and receive your emails, you can download a small file that will help you set up your client software (outlook). See the image below
Log into your Hosting Control Panel. Navigate to your Emails. Then Manage this will allow you to download scripts or small pieces of software that will set up your Email software automatically., when you open your Email software and import the file.
